Lola in Show biz....

Lola's career in the show ring  sparkled, as did she, qualifying for Crufts at only her second show.  Lola was  reserve puppy at the Spillers Beta/Dog World Puppy Stakes (Bournemouth 1997) having been placed first out if 117 exhibitors on the second day by judge Mrs. M. Nixon.  At Crufts 1998 Lola gained 2nd place to the reserve best bitch in the junior class under American judge Mr. R.  Heal.  Lola was awarded her Kennel Club stud book number at the S.W.K.A. 1999 from judge Mr. Bob Gregory.  In 2001 Lola was Reserve Best Bitch at the East of England Great Dane Club Show under judge Mrs. Leana Lewis, 3rd in the open class at Crufts under judge Mrs. F. A. Somerfield, and Reserve Best Bitch at the Dane of the Year Show under judge Mrs. Mal Worsley.Lola was a thrill to show and has had many friends both human and doggy on the show scene. CRUFTS 2002.  Lola was again  placed 3rd in the open bitch class (being beaten by the Best in Breed & the Reserve Best Bitch) under Swedish judge Mr. O. Staunskjaer.  What a showgirl !!!

Lola  moved into the veteran class where she won Best Veteran in show at the Great Dane Club show, 15/11/2003 under judge Peter King (Eppwood) and the veteran bitch class at CRUFTS 2004  6/3/04 under Judge Mrs R H Steiner.
